I have long been passionate about helping people grow and develop in ways that enhance their lives and the lives of those around them. I am energized by helping leaders better understand themselves, tap into their strengths, and develop in ways to harness their potential. When people are engaged and working at this level, organizations achieve amazing things!
This passion led me to Talent Development. Early in my career, I worked in a regional multi-hospital healthcare system leading initiatives to shift organizational culture, improve quality, and develop leaders. Next, I transitioned to a global financial services firm before joining a statewide consulting firm. In these roles, I focused on organizational change, cultural alignment, leadership development, and executive coaching — further fueling my enthusiasm for helping people grow. In 2005 I founded Pathway Leadership Consulting so I could focus my energies on helping organizations achieve success through developing their people.
How did I get here, and why am I qualified to serve you? I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters in Business Administration from Pfeiffer University. Along the way, I became a Board Certified Coach and also earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation. Seeking rich and diverse tools to serve my individual and organizational clients, I became certified in more than 20 assessment tools and business simulations and became a master trainer on many of these. Finally, I co-founded CaseCards, a company focused on providing resources geared to learning professionals, with the goal of helping them make a lasting impact.
